After routine and rituals were put in place, students run these! For example: we begin our morning with the date, calendar, weather, news, and skip counting. The kids begin these and start the participation by calling on each other. It gives them positive ways to share out and speak immediately in the morning!

I've been creating Slides for my lessons and embedding PearDeck in the slides. I love it! I've seen student engagement and participation shoot up. It gives those shy students a chance to share their ideas without unmuting their mics.
