The purpose of this Resources section is to define clear steps on how to assess the current status of parent and family involvement in your school; how to use interventions to extend academic plans, health curriculum, and behavior plans into the home culture of the student; and how to expand the parent and teacher relationship into a community by creating an environment where parents feel their presence is not only welcome but integral to the success and growth of all students.
